SEFYC is a cruising yacht club located in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.  We are a social boating club which has monthly dinner meetings and boating events.  Dinner meetings are held at various local restaurants at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month.  We bring in special speakers to address boating topics of interest to our members.  Some of our destinations include local raft ups and trips to the Florida Keys, Bahamas, and area marinas.

We were founded in 1974 by boaters in the Eastern Shores area of North Miami Beach, Florida.  Members include experienced boaters, sailors, and fishermen as well as beginners with their first boat. Our members come from surrounding areas such as Eastern Shores, Aventura, Hallandale, Hollywood, North Miami Beach, Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale.
